Excellent all around. Reliable, professional, and affordable for all projects. This crew has done a lot of work for me recently and always exceeds expectations. One of our most recent projects, Jwood installed a couple thousand feet of utilities for the new community.

I couldn't be happier with the work J Wood Excavating completed for me. From the initial communication to the finished job, their team was professional, reliable, and extremely knowledgeable. They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and paid close attention to every detail. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and it was clear they take great pride in what they do. They kept the job site clean, answered all my questions, and made the entire process stress-free. It's hard to find contractors who combine excellent workmanship with outstanding customer service, but J Wood Excavating does exactly that. I highly recommend J Wood Excavating to anyone looking for excavation, grading, site preparation, or related services. I would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects.

Jeff did a great job, and was very quick with his service! Highly recommend him for any excavation needs!

Very professional and work was done in a timely matter, had some work done in my back yard to remove stumps, debris , and re-grade the area with topsoil so I could plant some grass

Does great work at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

J Wood Excavating did an outstanding job installing a French drain in my yard—definitely a 5/5 experience. From the first walkthrough, they explained the plan clearly, marked out the run, and verified where the water would discharge so it wouldn’t cause problems elsewhere. The crew showed up on time, protected the lawn during excavation, and worked efficiently. They used quality materials (properly sloped perforated pipe, clean gravel, and fabric), and you can tell by the neat trench lines and tidy backfill that they take pride in their work. Most importantly, the drain actually works. After two heavy rains, the problem areas that used to stay soggy for days now drain quickly, and there’s no more standing water near the foundation. Communication was great throughout—quick responses, fair pricing with no surprise add-ons, and they left the site clean. Professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. I’d hire J Wood Excavating again without hesitation
